【Dust Control】

  This institute has specialized in research and development of the environmental protection technology for over twenty years. Since 1978, it has been awarded by the state, the province and the municipality the Prize for Scientific and Technical Progress for its 36 projects in scientific research on the environmental protection, whose designed and manufactured dust collectors of various model numbers have found application in over hundred factories throughout this country and entered the markets in the Philippines, Korea, Pakistan, Indonesia and others, with high dust collecting efficiency, occupying less space, less investment, lower energy consumption and recovery of the usable material, without secondary pollution; having found widespread application in metallurgy, building materials, mines, chemical engineering, paper making, electrical power generation, the light and textile industries and others to have carried out effective control by purification over the dusts, waste gas and mist from the production process in those industries; and the electrostatic precipitators being classified by the mechanisms such as gravity, inertia, centrifuge, filtering and washing.    Furthermore, the electrostatic precipitators can be classified by the air flow direction into vertical electrostatic precipitator and horizontal electrostatic precipitator.    In case they are classified by the dust collecting modes it covers the electrostatic precipitator on dry basis and the electrostatic precipitator on wet basis.    In case they are classified by the configuration of the dust collecting electrodes, they are divided into the pipe-type electrostatic precipitator and the plate-type electrostatic precipitator.    In case they are classified by the deployment position of the electrodes, they are divided into the single-zone and double-zone electrostatic precipitators.
